Ava Salay’s individual state golf

title: The number one moment of the 2021 sports season was Prescott junior Ava Salay’s individual state title at the WIAA Division 2 State Girls Golf Tournament in Madison on Tuesday, Oct. 12, which was the first individual state title in Prescott girls golf history. After losing the individual state title in the 2020 tournament by one stroke, Salay bounced back in 2021 with a 14-shot state title victory, not to mention her backnine on day two of the tournament which included five birdies. Her performance at the 2021 state title meet was some of the best golf that University Ridge has ever seen and is easily the #1 moment for

Pierce County this season.
