This year 19 dogs, one guinea pig, one sphynx cat, and one salamander joined the fun to compete for prizes at the 2022 Strawberry Fest Pet Show in Kingston Park. Judges were Dr. Dan Cederstrom and staff from the Park Grove Pet Hospital, who along with Aimee from Aimee’s Pampered Pets were the sponsors responsible for the tent that kept the competitors (and their owners) cool. Willow the Bernese Mountain Dog was the Mayor’s Choice, hand selected by the Mayor Myron Bailey and State Senator Karla Bingham. The Mayor, whose grandkids are usually enamored by the cute little pets, went big this year, but the little pets won plenty of other prizes.
