The Washington County Heritage Center is excited to announce the first annual “Historic Grounds” Coffee Tasting event to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their grand opening. The tastings will take place Saturday Oct. 8 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Heritage Center, located at 1862 South Greeley Street, Stillwater, MN 55082. The Center is owned and operated by the Washington County Historical Society (WCHS). No reservations are required.
Several local and regional coffee shops in Washington County will be pouring out their buzzworthy brews including MADE Coffee, Kodiak Coffee, Coffee Paw Café, Dunn Brothers, Starbucks, and others. Tasting cups and baked goods will be provided and WCHS will have historic coffee-related items from their collections on display.
Tickets are $10 per attendee and kids ages 10 and under are free. WCHS can take cash, cards or checks for payment. Event attendees will also be able to experience all of the exhibits at the Washington County Heritage Center discounted rate. As stated previously no reservations are required, but WCHS recommends attending early as coffee will be served on a first come, first served basis.
