Park High Softball player signs with Concordia-St. Paul

A Park High senior will soon be joining the softball team at Concordia-St. Paul.

Bryleigh Dana, a Wolfpack catcher as well as first and third base person will be in Golden Bear uniform next year, signing a letter of intent with the Golden Bears for next year.

During her high school career at Park Dana has lettered three times in both softball and basketball and was selected as First Team-All Conference and All Conference- Honorable Mention for softball. In addition she has made All Conference-Honorable Mention in basketball and is a member of the National Honors Society, among her many accomplishments. Golden Bears coach Bob Bartel had the following to say about Dana and what she brings to the team.

“Bryleigh is a power hitting strong armed catcher with a strong work ethic,” he said. “Bryleigh puts in the time and work to keep improving on her skill set and it has shown over the past few seasons of high school and club softball. She comes from a very strong high school program that prepares their players for the next level. We are excited to see Bryleigh take the next step in her career!”

Soon to leave Park High for Concordia-St. Paul, Dana plans to major in criminal justice in order to pursue a career either as a lawyer or member of the FBI.
