The risk of catching COVID-19 in Washington County at this time is rated Medium, per the State Department of Health. Those at high risk of getting very sick are advised to wear a high-quality mask or respirator when indoors in public.

Those having household or social contact with someone at high risk for getting very sick should consider self testing to detect infection before contact, and consider wearing a high-quality mask when indoor with them.

As of afternoon on Tuesday, Jan. 10, the case count for COVID-19 is 197, or a rate of 77 per 100,000 population. As of the present, some 79.3 percent of the population in Washington County has at least one vaccination dose,.
