Get ready for fun at Cottage Grove’s 10th annual Kids Adventure Mud Run from 9-10 a.m. June 3 at Hamlet Park. Ages 6 –12 will experience army crawls, slack lines, running ramps, net climbs, a tire run, spider webs, rock walls, a hanging noodle dash, as well as dodging swinging balls in the forest. According to Cottage Grove Parks and Recreation, kids will run, climb, crawl, slide, and run their way through a 1-mile, kid-friendly course that will test them at every juncture.
This event, put on jointly by Woodbury and Cottage Grove, will be a well-manned event offering a fun and rewarding experience. Parks & Recreation notes that racers will run in waves, completing 20+ obstacles through Hamlet Park and ending with an optional dash through a mud pit. It is strongly advised to bring an extra set of clothes for after the run.
