Park had a very tough week in baseball, dropping one-run games to Hastings and Forest Lake and a two-run decision to rival Woodbury.

The Wolfpack play at Mounds View Wednesday, host East Ridge Friday and wrap up the regular season with a home game against non-conference foe Owatonna on Monday, May 22.

Hastings 2, Park 1

The Wolfpack dropped a 2-1 non-conference decision at Hastings Tuesday. The loss stopped a three-game Park winning streak.

 

Woodbury 12, Park 10

The visiting Woodbury Royals survived a 7-run seven inning to edge Park 12-10 in a Suburban East Conference baseball contest at Park Wednesday.

Woodbury led 4-1 after two innings and 9-2 after five, but Park surged in the final at bat.

Luke Hatano had two doubles and three RBIs for the Wolfpack, while Elijah Mechnog, Adam Tait, Brett Salmonson each had a double. Mechnig also had three RBIs. Charlie Brooke, Adam King, Tait drove in runs.

Park had 13 hits in the game to 12 for the Royals.

 

Forest Lake 7, Park 6

Host Forest Lake edged visiting Park 7-6 in a Suburban East Conference baseball contest Friday at FLHS Schumacher Baseball Field.
 
 

Boys lacrosse

Park wraps up the regular season with a home game against Cretin-Derham Hall on Wednesday, May 17, starting at 7 p.m.

Irondale 9, Park 8

Host Irondale edged visiting Park 9-8 in Suburban East Conference boys lacrosse at Irondale (2-4, 3-4) Wednesday.

 

Park 12, Hastings 10

The host Wolfpack (4-6) scored a 12-10 victory over visiting Hastings (5-5) in a non-conference boys lacrosse matchup at Cottage Grove Thursday.

 

East Ridge 12, Park 8

Park dropped a 12-8 decision to the visiting East Ridge Raptors in Suburban East Conference play Friday, May 12.

Christopher Wilson scored five goals to lead the Wolfpack offense. Brenden Bloedel had two goals and an assist. Bradley Johnson had Park’s other goal. Angelo Cullen had two assists. Blake Bestler and Braden Lettner added assists,

East Ridge went to 5-3 in the SEC and 7-4 overall. Park is 2-6 in the conference and 4-7 on the season.
