The annual Community Showcase arrives April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Park High School Activities Center, located at 8040 80th Street South in Cottage Grove.
Now in its 21st year, the event sponsored by the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, the Community Showcase is a free, family-friendly event that brings together local businesses, organizations, and residents to help promote community engagement and economic growth.
Cottage Grove Area Chamber President Laurie Levine shared more on what attendees can do at the Showcase.
“Attendees (18+) can visit each of our Platinum, Gold and Silver Sponsor Booths to complete a Bingo Card for a prize drawing at 1:45 pm (need not be present to win) for prizes like a Mall of America Basket, Designer Purse, Backpack Cooler filled with Goodies, and more!” Levine said. “We are also having a Health & Wellness area with a drawing for a Health & Wellness Basket.”
The broader goal of the annual Community Showcase is to bring the Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park and surrounding area residents together to learn more about local businesses and organizations that make our communities amazing and why it is important to support and shop local.
A current list of businesses and sponsors for the Showcase is below. Businesses and local organizations not on the list but interested in becoming a sponsor or having an event booth may contact Laurie Levine at Laurie@cottagegrovechamber.org or by phone at 651-458-8334.
