While the Mississippi Landings housing development on the former Mississippi Dunes golf course has since been determined by the Council to not require an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), the following comment letter from Friends of the Mississippi River for the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) was found online at https://fmr.org/advocate. Such letters by FMR are considered to be a matter of public knowledge and so reproduced here, ‘for the record.’ As to Mississippi Landings, the next step is a preliminary plat, headed to the Plan Commission shortly and then Council by mid-March.
