Bigfoot, Solstice Hike and Reptiles at Dodge

Delve deep into the history surrounding Bigfoot, Mothman, Wapaloosie and other cryptids reported across the state in “Minnesota Uncovered” on Friday, Dec. 8 from 3–5 p.m. at Dodge Nature Center’s Main Property in West Saint Paul. Are they real or folklore?

This event is open to adults. The cost is $8 per participant. Preregistration is required. Registration typically closes the day before the program at noon. Program fees are nonrefundable, and transfers are not permitted.

Meet Dodge’s native cold-blooded creatures and learn about their strategies for survival in the prairies, wetlands, and forests of our local area in the hands-on program “Reptiles and Amphibians of Minnesota” on Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 10–11:30 a.m. at Dodge Nature Center’s Main Property in West Saint Paul.

Celebrate the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year outdoors at the Dodge Nature Center’s Main Property in West Saint Paul on Thursday, Dec. 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. This guided hike, with naturalists, leads participants through the wintry woods to a bonfire with marshmallows, hot drinks, and stories.
