Seniors Tyler Bonin finished third and Charles Looker was fifth to lead the Park boys golf team to a second-place team finish in a nine-team Suburban East Conference tournament at River Oaks Golf Course.
Bonin shot a 73 while Looker was one shot off with a 74. Mac Maluski took 13th with a score of 77. Michael Destasio finished 24th (81), Eli Daly was 31st (83) and Drew Theurer 54th (92). All of the Park golfers are seniors.
Cretin-Derham Hall took top team honors with a 291, followed by Park with a 305. White Bear Lake and Stillwater tied for third (310), East Ridge was fifth (313), Mounds View sixth (315), Roseville seventh (328), Woodbury eighth (337) and Forest Lake ninth (340).
On Monday, Park finished a close fourth in a conference tournament at North Oaks. The Wolfpack combined for a score of 304, one stroke off Stillwater and White Bear Lake which were tied with 303 totals.
Park’s Tyler Bonin and Charles Looker tied for fifth overall with a scores of 73. Michael Destasio scored a 77, Mac Maluski an 81, Eli Daly an 82 and Drew Theurer an 88.
Cretin-Derham Hall won the team event with a score of 287. Stillwater and White Bear Lake tied for second at 303, followed by 4, Park 304; 5, Mounds View 311; 6, East Ridge 320; 7, Irondale 325; 8, Woodbury 330; and 9, Roseville 335.
