Park High boys golf is basically starting from scratch this season as the top seven golfers last spring were seniors.
The Wolfpack must replace Tyler Bonin, who tied for 53rd at state last season, along with Charles Looker, Michael Destasio, Mac Maluski, Eli Daly and Drew Theurer.
Park had 48 players tried out for the team.
For the starting match, the top six will be junior Chase Nadler, senior Wyatt Tooman, sophomore Cam Young, senior Dylan Gresview, senior Cam Duncan and sophomore Riley Cook.
“We’re very inexperienced but we have a lot of numbers, all the way from seventh grade up to senior year,” said head coach Tim Maluski.” We’re hoping for a good year.”
Park is slated to tee off the season Wednesday, April 8, in the 20-team meet Troy Burne in Hudson, WI. The Wolfpack then host the Suburban East Conference at River Oaks on Tuesday, April 14.
