Slated for Newport Plan Commission on Tuesday, July 7 after press time, Daley Electric has submitted plans for a proposed building addition at 222 21st Street in Newport. Founded in 2011 and located at its present location since 2019, plans for the proposed 8,604 square foot addition would more than triple the existing size, joining a 3,292 square feet building to the west. Teh proposed building addition would include several offices, a conference room, bathrooms, a storage and warehouse ares, as well as an overhead door and pre-finished window, along with new parking lot paving. With architectural plans prepared by APPRO Development and a civil site plan prepared by Redher and Associates, the new Daley Electric addition would be located across from city hall between Second and Third Streets in Newport.
