We are thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone—ten wonderful years at our current St. Paul Park location! Friends in Need Food Shelf has established itself
as a pillar of community support since relocating from the aging VFW building to our facility on 4th Street. This change made possible through the collaborative
efforts of the St. Paul Park Refinery, Merchants Bank, and dedicated local businesses, has not only enhanced the physical environment but has profoundly
improved the experience for our clients.
What a journey it has been! With annual client visits skyrocketing from just under 7,000 in 2016 to an astonishing nearly 15,000 today, it’s clear that our
community's needs are not just changing—they're growing! As we reflect on this journey, we remain deeply grateful for the support we’ve received and are
excited about the future. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating and encourage ongoing engagement—through volunteering, donations, or participating in
upcoming events—as we continue our mission to combat food insecurity and strengthen the bonds within our community. Together, we can make a lasting
impact!
