The annual event was once again made possible by generous sponsors including Tennis Sanitation LLC, Hy-Vee, Whiskey Creek BBQ, Northpoint, Renewal by Andersen, 3M, Van Meter, and the City of Cottage Grove.
Starting at 4 p.m., the annual event included ice cream trucks, corn on the cob, burgers and hot dogs, as well as a free bike giveaway, each kid given a free entry and chance to win. The 2025 Strawberry Fest Ambassadors were present along with therapy dog Riggs and Sergeant Scott Shaver of Cottage Grove Public Safety.
The Cottage Grove Fire Department was on site to give ladder truck rides, with fireworks arriving at 10 p.m.
