Local Students Named to University of Northern Colorado Dean’s List of Academic Distinction Over 2,100 students have been named to the 2020-21 Dean’s List at the University of Northern Colorado.

The following students from Cottage Grove have been named to the Dean’s List of Academic Distinction.

Cottage Grove, MN Melody Armstrong To earn this honor, students were required to earn a combined GPA of 3.75 or higher during at least two academic semesters and completed a minimum of 24 semester hours. For more on the University of Northern Colorado, visit www.unco. edu.

WITC recognizes spring 2021 graduates Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College would like to congratulate the Class of 2021 spring graduates. The College awarded 590 associate degrees and one- and two-year technical diplomas. Modified commencement ceremonies were held on campuses in May. Graduates received the opportunity to have their name called and receive their diploma from a college official, and they could bring a limited number of guests. WITC wishes the Class of 2021 all the best in their future endeavors. The following residents from Cottage Grove were awarded degrees.

Baylor University Celebrates 2020-2021 Graduates Baylor University celebrated more than 7,500 graduates of the Classes of 2020 and 2021 during six in-person commencement ceremonies May 6-8 at McLane Stadium on the banks of the Brazos River.

Clara Grismer of Woodbury earns degree at Benedictine College Clara Grismer of Woodbury, MN, has graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in English at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan.

The college graduated 309 students at the end of the academic year, including 38 with graduate degrees. The graduates heard from Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and a Benedictine alumnus from the class of 1991, who delivered an inspiring Commencement Address.
