Common sense leadership

To the editor:
Not long ago I sent a letter attacking the Walz administration for promoting “meatless Mondays” in our state, which would have a devastating impact on our agriculture industry. In response, William Cory Labovitch penned some senseless drivel regarding Washington County commissioner candidate Keith Franke.

If you were able to make heads or tails of Labovitch’s letter, well, you’d be the first.

But since he felt the need to attack both of us, let me use this as an opportunity to promote my good friend Keith Franke. I have served with Keith for four years in the Minnesota House, and I can tell you he is the real deal. He is a true bipartisan, which is hard to find in all walks of life these days. Keith doesn’t care if you’re a Republican, Democrat or something else, he just cares about helping you.

The Minnesota House’s loss should be Washington County’s gain. I cannot think of a person more qualified to serve as your county commissioner than Keith Franke. Keith has my endorsement for Washington County commissioner, and hopefully he’ll have your support as well. Please vote Keith Franke for Washington County Commissioner and keep his common-sense leadership working for you!

Sincerely, State Representative Rod Hamilton Mountain Lake
