Washington County Parks invites the public to the Historic Courthouse in Stillwater from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, July 18 for the Community Ice Cream Social.
Held outdoors on the grounds of the Historic Courthouse, the Community Ice Cream Social is a perennial favorite where attendees can enjoy ice cream with family, friends, and neighbors.
The Ice Cream Social is free to attend and open to the public. Bring a blanket, enjoy root beer floats and ice cream for purchase, and listen to live music on the lawn. Attendees can also visit vendors offering activities and items for sale. In the event of rain, the event will be canceled.
Proceeds from the root beer floats, ice cream, and Historic Courthouse merchandise benefit the Historic Courthouse Restoration Fund. The event returns after taking a year off in 2023 due to the renovation project at the courthouse.
The event will be sponsored by Edina Realty and Lift Bridge Brewing Company.
The Historic Courthouse is at the corner of Pine and Third streets in Stillwater.
