Residents in Cottage Grove and the surrounding area have a new option for medical care. CompCare opened their eighth location in Cottage Grove and they recently had their ribbon cutting ceremony with the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Myron Bailey. CompCare is an occupational medicine and urgent care facility located at 7500 80th St S. Suite 100 in Cottage Grove.
“One of the things that I’ve heard from our citizens in Cottage Grove for many, many, many years is the need for a place to take your family members or somebody you know that has an emergency or needs an x ray or something like that. A lot of times they’ve had to either go out of Cottage Grove into Woodbury or some other place. The great news is, if you have care needs that maybe isn’t something you’re going to go to your normal doctor for, CompCare is here,” said Mayor Bailey.
CompCare has a large footprint for their office space which gives them room for many exam rooms along with their own lab area, a medicinal dispensary, x-ray machine, and a robust physical therapy floor.
CompCare CEO Cooper Rendon filled everyone in on what services you can expect to see.
“We offer a variety of services to community and Minnesotans like in other regions. Part of what we do is urgent care. The other part is occupational medicine. And we do now offer physical therapy as well. Ours are going to be Monday through Friday seven to seven and weekends nine to four. Wait time is very minimal. We offer a comprehensive list of employer services, drug and alcohol, testing physicals, D O T options, and so on,” said Rendon.
They will also offer a comprehensive plan for services to supplement family’s insurance plans. Their CompCare savings plan starts at $99 per person and is designed to be a savings plan to cover life’s unexpected urgencies. The CompCare website, www. compcareclinics.com does a wonderful job filling in the details of the plan along with a comprehensive list of services.
The clinic was clean, bright and had a modern but basic feel too it. The staff was kind and took a ton of time on the tour to answer all the questions visitors had. There are currently seven Minnesota locations with the Cottage Grove location being the most recently opened.
CompCare should be a great alternative to standard clinics and hospitals for folks in Hastings, Cottage Grove, Woodbury, St. Paul Park and Newport. Their telephone number is 651-508-0936 to book an appointment or you can book online at www.compcareclinics. com.
