Darling paces Wolfpack swim and dive team

Senior Mason Darling won the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard breaststroke to highlight the Wolfpack’s efforts as Park hosts Mounds View Thursday in Suburban East Conference boys swimming,

Darling took top honors in the 200-IM in 2:05.36 and scored a winning time of 1:02.81 in the breaststroke.

Mounds View finished first in the team race, 99-85.

Park swept the 1-meter diving. Carter Darling was first with a 191.85 score, Ethyn Schilling second with a 186.55 and Trey Jaso third with a 151.95.

Park was second in the 200-yard medley relay with the team of Parker Jeseritz, Mason Darling, Jack Schweigert and Logan Schweigert finishing in 1:47.36. The Wolfpack team Darling, Jack Schweigert, Lalee Yang and Damion Charpentier, of was second in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:39.84. Park finished the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:45.27 with the foursome of Jeseritz, Charpentier, Yang and Logan Schweigert.

Sophomore Charpentier was second in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.92) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:32.57). Jack Schweigert was second in the 100-yard freestyle (53.21) and second in the breaststroke (1:06.28). Jeseritz finished second in the 100-yard backstroke in 57.35.

Logan Schweigert placed third in the 200-yard IM (2:12.68). Ethan Cole was third in the 200 freestyle (2:07.79). Jeseritz was third in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.24. Lalee Yang took third in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.35.

Park is idle until hosting East Ridge on Thursday, Jan. 4., at the Cottage Grove Middle School pool. Starting at 6 p.m.
