Davis leads gymnastics at Lakeville North

Senior Ashley Davis finished fifth in the all-around and Park finished 11th in the star-studded 16-team Lakeville North Invitational Saturday.

Davis scored a season high 36.85 in the all-around. Makayla Bollman of the Wolfpack finished 27th in the all-around with a score of 33.55. Audrey Reimers scored a 24.55, Luella Erlin a 24.25, Natalie Peters a 24.05 and Eleanor Thompson a 14.6. Laney Schwellenbach of East Ridge won the all-around with a score of 38.8.

Davis was fifth on the vault (9.35), 11th on bars (8.75), ninth on beam (9.2) and fourth on the floor (9.55), one of her best scores of the season.

Bollman finished 28th on the vault (8.9), 43rd on bars (8.0) and 33rd on floor (9.0).

Reimers had an 8.4 on vault, Kadence Glide an 8.1 and Peters an 8.0.

On bars, Erling scored a 7.9, Peters a 7.7 and Thompson a 6.25.

On the beam Thompson had an 8.35, Erling an 8.25, Reiners a 7.95 and Bollman a 7.65.

Peters earned an 8.35 score on floor, Reimers an 8.2 and Erling an 8.1.

Team scored Saturday were: 1, Detroit Lakes (145.15); 2, Owatonna (144.05); 3 Lakeville South (143.35); 4 Melrose (142.55); 5 East Ridge (140.1); 6 Elk River-Zimmerman (140.05); 7 Edina (139.8): 8 Cambridge-Isanti (139.2): 9 Lakeville North (138.8); 10, Prior Lake (138.4); 11, Park (135.95); 12, Apple Valley-Eastview (135.2); 13, Northfield (134.9); 14, Stillwater (133.2); 15, Eden Prairie (130.2) and 16, Roseville (118.5).

The 19th ranked Wolfpack compete at 21st-ranked White Bear Lake Thursday, then host a 12-team invitational Saturday starting at 11 a.m.

Davis, Bollman dominate Roseville dual

Ashley Davis and Makayla Bollman finished 1-2 in the all-around and Park scored its season high in a 136.3 win over visiting Roseville in girls gymnastics Thursday at Cottage Grove.

Davis won the vault and the floor while Bollman finished first on the beam and the bars.

Davis also won the all-around with a score of 36.125. Bollman was second at 35.5, her best all-around score of the season so far.

Davis finished first on the vault (9.3), placed second on bars (8.525), second on beam (8.8) and first on floor (9.5).

Bollman won the beam competition (8.9), finished second on the vault (9.2), won the bars (8.525) and was second on floor (8.825).

Park’s Natalie Peters was sixth in the all-around (24.75), Luella Erling was eighth (24.0), Audrey Reimers ninth (23.55) and Eleanor Thompson 11th (13.95) and Kadence Glide 12th (8.425).

Park swept the bars event with Bollman, Davis, Peters (7.95), Erling (7.5) and Thompson (6.65) finishing first through fifth.

On the vault, Reimers was third (8.45), Glide fifth (8.425) and Peters seventh (8.3).

Erling was third on the beam (8.3), Reimers sixth (7.3) and Thompson seventh (7.2).

On floor it was Davis, Bollman, Peters third (8.45), Erling fifth (8.2) and Reimers seventh (7.7).
