Davis leads Park gymnastics in two meets

Ashley Davis won the floor exercise and finished second in the all around to lead the Park Wolfpack in Saturday’s My Ribbon My Reason nine-team invitational gymnastics meet at White Bear Lake.

Davis scored a 36.55 in the all-around, won the floor with a big score of 9.6 and finished second on the vault (9.3), fourth on bars (8.35), fourth on the beam (9.3).

Makayla Bollman was 18th in the all-around with a score of 32.45. Natalie Peters was 35th with a score of 22.7, Eleanor Thomson was 37th (22.55), Audrey Reimers 42nd (16.45) Alice Wood 48th (14.8), Ruby Igl 59th (7.15) and Luella Erling 61st (7.1).

On the vault Bollman was 12th (8.7). Reimers had a score of 8.4, Thompson an 8.0 and Peters a 7.9.

On bas it was Bollman (7.8), Igl (7.15), Erling (7.1) and Peters (6.9).

On the beam, Park’s Bollman scored an 8.1, Reimers an 8.05, Thompson a 7.35 and Wood a 7.0.

Peters finished with a 7.9 on floor, Bollman a 7.85, Wood a 7.8 and Thompson a 7.2.

Park finished sixth in the team race with 130.75 points.

Rogers won the team race with 136.75 points, followed by: 2, Edina, 136.55; 3, Big Lake, 136.5; 4, Alexandria, 132.45; 5, North Branch, 132.0; 6, Park, 130.75; 7, White Bear Lake, 130,7; 8, St. Louis Park, 129.35 and 9, Chisago Lakes, 127.95.

Woodbury 132.675, Park 130.125

Park’s Davis won the vault (9.25) and beam (9.1) and Bollman the bars (7.75) but host Woodbury edged Park in the dual matchup, 132.675 to 130.125 Thursday at Woodbury.

Bollman finished fourth in the all around with a score of 30.875. Reimers was fifth (23.825), Peters sixth (23.025) and Davis seventh (18.325). Davis competed on just the vault and beam.

Reimers was fifth on the vault (8.35), Bollman eighth (8.1), Thompson ninth (8.05) and Peters 10th (8.05).

Erling was fourth on the bars (7.525), Ruby Igl sixth (7.425), Peters ninth (6.875) and Thompson 10th (6.55).

On the beam Igl took third (8.525), Reimers fourth (8.425), Isabelle Brown sixth (8) and Bollman 10th (6.575).

Woodbury dominated the floor exercise, finishing first through fifth. Bollman was sixth, Alice Wood seventh. Peters eighth (8.1), Reimers ninth (7.05) and Isabelle Boyd 10th (6.925).

Park hosts Mounds View/Irondale Thursday, starting at 6 p.m.
