Economic Development Authority meets

If you’re a business owner who has heard of or think you might be interested in the façade improvement plan in the City of Cottage Grove, listen up! With applications due by July 1, up to three area businesses may be awarded a grant of up to $27,000 ($25,000 for façade improvement and $2,00 for design assistance), with applications reviewed and awards determined this July 13.

That being said, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) recently held a board meeting April 13 via long-distance virtual means, with several takeaways. Among them was a home purchase and upcoming controlled burn, the City’s façade improvement program, and a business inquiry. First though, there was approval of the previous EDA meeting minutes, from February 2021.
