The City of Cottage Grove is hosting its annual Mayor for a Day contest, with entries due by Friday, Oct. 17.
Open to city residents aged 8 to 12, the annual contest calls on entrants to write a short essay totaling 250 words or less, explaining why they would like to be Mayor for a Day and what their vision is for the future of Cottage Grove.
Interested parties should send a picture or attachment of their handwritten essay to Communications@cottagegrovemn.gov by Friday, October 17, and should include their name, age, grade and school name.
