Eric Tessmer
A police officer with Phoenix and then the Twin Cities, Eric Tessmer was raised on a dairy farm in Corcoran, Minnesota. Tessmer and his wife Rebecca have been married for 17 years, and they have children in the local schools. “One of the reasons me and my wife moved back to this area was the quality schools this area has been known for,” Tessmer said, listing “freedom of choice” and a “core curriculum that unites our children as Americans” as among those things a school district must provide. Tessmer has a campaign website at www.VoteEricTessmer. com, also utilizing SWCTC TV to reach prospective supporters.
“The onset of COVID-19 has perpetuated the erosions of our freedoms as Americans,” he says, adding, “I stand for parent’s freedom of choice.” Saying the present condition is a symptom of a school board that has lost touch with freedoms and the principles undergirding U.S. society, Tessmer asks your vote on November 2.
