Cottage Grove Fire Department members were busy at Hamlet Park Saturday. Although the Holiday Train didn’t stop this year, the need for donations is great. The fire department hosted the drop off site for donations of paper products or cash for the Friends In Need Food Shelf. Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand as well.
This week Friends in Need also had a big drop-off from a “Yeti” from Pine Hill Elementary School. He dropped off nearly 2,600 lbs. of paper goods and $465 in cash raised by students and staff.
