Bring the kids and celebrate the grand opening of The Little Village in Cottage Grove from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 24.
According to Laura Fritts, co-owner of The Little Village, there will be crafts, face painting, tattoos, popcorn, area vendors, food and drink specials, tastings, and more. Tickets are $10 per child aged 9 months – 6 years, and $3 per baby, if not accompanied by an older sibling. Tickets are good anytime during the celebration.
Participating vendors for the event include Cassini’s Pizzeria, P&TY Granola Bars, Blue Skys Soapery, and more.
“We're going to have a lot of fun, and we can't wait to celebrate with you and your littles,” Fritts said.
Located at 7750 Harkness Ave. S., Suite 101, The Little Village is a modern indoor play area with craft classes, workshops, and open play. There is a café with easy viewing of the indoor play area where parents can meet, chat, relax and enjoy a cup of Dogwood Coffee.
Fritts and her husband Ryan based the concept of The Little Village on community and creativity. They wanted to provide a unique play space with activities for young children while also providing a space for grown-ups to connect with other community members.
Alongside the café and open play area, The Little Village also offers a retail boutique that houses a curated collection of play, craft, and apparel items, as well as a modern space to host magical birthday parties.
