Joa, Boche, Attisso lead track team

Junior Henry Joa, senior Aidan Boche and junior O’neal Attisso all scored titles to lead the Park boys and girls track teams in a meet at White Bear Lake Wednesday.

Joa won the 1,600 meters in 4:37.43, Boche threw the discus 152-9 to finish first in a field of 35 and Attisso was the only high jumper to clear 6-0. Both Joa and Boche’s efforts were close to making it into the boys track and field honor roll (4:30.73 for the 1,600 and 160-0 for the discus).

Malaya Ramirez finished second in the 800 meters in 2:35.42 to highlight the girls finishes.

Spring Lake Park won both the boys and girls team races. Park’s boys were fifth and the girls team sixth.

On the boys side it was: 1. Spring Lake Park (147). 2, Eagan (135.5). 3, Farmington (106). 4, White Bear Lake (99.5). 5, Park (63). 6, Spectrum (48). 7, Minneapolis Edison (31). 8, Park Center (30). 9, Proctor (21). 10 St. Anthony Village (18).

Girls scores were: 1, Spring Lake Park (178.5). 2, St. Anthony Village (117.5). 3, Spectrum (109). 4, Park Center (105). 5, Minneapolis Edison (68). 6, Park (54.5). Proctor (51.5).

Girls results

Junior Pajyeeb Long took second in the shot put (33-5) and fourth in the discus (85-8). Marlina Patrick was fifth in the shot (27-6) and 10th in the discus (76-1). Elianor Boche was 10th in the shot (26-0) and 15th in the discus (61-10). Kalkidan Fuge was 18th in the shot (22-4.5) and 17th In the discus (57-0).

Audrey Finley cleared 4-2 to finish sixth in the high jump. Sahli was 12th (4-0) and Garcia 13th (4-0). Abilgail Schmitzer was 12th in the long jump (13-7), Edlund 13th (13-6.5) and Garcia 14th (13-6). Edlund took ninth in the triple jump (30-9), Schmitzer was 14th (28-10.75).

Elizabeth Kamande was seventh in the 100 (13.35) and Aline Sosa Guevara 16th (14.19). Maleah McMorrow finished seventh in the 200 (28.45) and Ava Rentz was 20th (32.35). McMorrow was also fourth in the 400 (1:04.05), Grace Sahli ninth (1:06.15) and Esme Edlund 14th (1:07.96). Alexandra Cuellar was 14th in the 800 (3:11.89). Jana Hafiz finished sixth in the 1,600 (6:05.11), Allison Devine was ninth (6:32.08), Jaylynn Meyer 16th (7:58.16) and Annaleigh Johnson 17th (8:01.85). Hailey Garcia was ninth in the 100 hurdles (20.50).

Park’s 4x400 relay team of Ramirez, Edlund, Elizabeth Kamande and Grace Sahli finished second in 4:19.01.

Boys results

Alexander Djadoo was seventh in the 100 (11.33) and Olumide Aluko 19th (11.64). Aluko was 15th in the 200 (24.05). Kroix Pearson placed third in the 400 (51.33) and Dylan Davis was 13th (54.24). Liam Fleming was 17th in the 800 (2:18.04). Eli Firchau was fifth in the 3200 (9:59.51). Adebare Goodness Agu was 19th in the 110-meter hurdles (20.43) and 18th in the 300 hurdles (50.73).

In the relays, Park’s 4x100 team of Aluko, Djadoo, Jason Burns and Jayveon Wade finished second in 45.34. The 4x200 quartet of Pearson, Djadoo, Burns and Wade finished fourth in 1:34.87.

Joshua Ola-Kazeem was 19th in the high jump (5-0). Daniel Boesch took seventh in the long jump (20-6.5), Attisso was eighth (20-5.5) and Ricado Santos 18th (18-8). Attisso also placed sixth in the triple jump (40-4), Santos was seventh (39-11.5) and Boesch 12th (38-8.75).

The Wolfpack compete Thursday in the Tom Moore Invite at Woodbury, starting at 3:45 p.m. Qualified Park athletes will also compete in the Hamline Elite Meet on Friday at Hamline University, starting at 5 p.m.
