FEATURED EVENTS Free Kid’s Lunch Wednesday, July 6 from 2 to 3 p.m.
In partnership with Youthprise and the After School Snack Program, Park Grove Library is offering cold lunch every Wednesday afternoon. All children are eligible from ages birth to 18. Lunch is served and must be eaten on site. Registration is not required.
Baby Storytime Thursday, July 7 from 3:30to 4 p.m.
Join us at this inclusive storytime for families with babies. This storytime is recommended for developmental ages 0-2 and their grown-ups. Registration is not required.
Contraption Club Thursday, July 7 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Explore and learn how to use new technology to make almost anything! Participants will have access to 3D printing, laser cutting, coding robots, soldering, Cricut cutting machines, computerized embroidery, and more. This activity is for ages 9-12. Registration is not required. This workshop is funded in part with a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education.
Conversation Circles Thursday, July 7 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Non-native English speakers, join us for tea and conversation! Practice your English, make new friends, and learn about all the library has to offer. Registration is not required.

Take and Make with KidCreate Studio: Van Gogh Vase on Canvas Wednesday, July 13 Learn about Vincent Van Gogh and paint your own sunflowers on a real canvas board! Supplies will be provided to complete the project at home. For ages 5-12. Registration is not required. This program is possible thanks to Kid Create Studio and funding from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Teen Social Activism Series: Social Justice Art Wednesday, July 13 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Join us for a special workshop with Lisa Arnold, an artist, teacher, and activist. Participants will learn the 10Cs of Art and Social Justice to create unique and meaningful designs. For ages 11-18. Registration is required. Kalpulli KetzalCoatlicue: Aztec and Nahuatl Dance and Culture Thursday, July 14 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Celebrate the tradition of Aztec and Nahuatl dance and culture! This group of talented Indigenous artists combines spirited dance with music from the sacred drum, conch shells, seeds, and other instruments. No registration is required. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
PolkaSol: An Interactive Music Concert Monday, July 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
See Ann Reed, Joan Griffith, and Anita Ruth on two accordions and a violin for this interactive musical concert. PolkaSol loves to talk with its audience and share stories and humor.
