All Washington County Library branches will be closed on Wednesday, April 20 for a staff training. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, April 21.

Virtual: Repujado – The Art of Metal Tooling Wednesday, April 13 from 5 to 6:30 P.M.

Work with artist Gustavo Boada to learn the techniques of metal tooling and create a beautiful silver foiled picture. For ages 11-18. Registration is required, and all supplies will be provided. Register in person, online at WashCoLib.org/ Events, or call 651-459-2040. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Park Grove Daytime Book Club Wednesday, April 13 from 1 to 2:30 P.M.

Join the Daytime Book Club at Park Grove Library on the second Wednesday of each month. This month’s selection is Out Stealing Horses by Per Petterson. All are welcome! No registration required.

Take and Make with Kelley Meister: Mini (Low Tech) Movies Wednesday, April 13 Make your own thaumatropes, or mini movies! Pick up supplies at Park Grove Library and complete this project at home. For ages 5-12. No registration is required. This program is possible thanks to COMPAS and funding from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Hybrid: Park Grove Library Book Club Tuesday, April 26 from 6:30 to 8 P.M.

Join this book club online or in person at Park Grove Library. This month’s selection is The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. Read the book and join the discussion. Everyone is welcome! No registration required.

Virtual Club Book: James Rollins Thursday, April 28 from 7 to 8 P.M.

Join Club Book and Washington County Library for a virtual evening with New York Times bestselling author James Rollins. Over the past three decades, Rollins’ published work has included standalone thrillers, the popular Jake Ransom middle grade series, and the #1 New York Times bestselling Sigma Force series.
