All Washington County Library branches will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday. Branches will also be closed Friday, Dec. 31 for the New Year’s holiday.

Everything is Awesome Brick Party Wednesday, December 15 from 3:30 to 4:30 P.M.

Children and their grown-ups are invited to create with bricks at Park Grove Library on Wednesday afternoons! Come build your own design or complete a challenge. This event is for ages 5-12. Register in person, online at WashCoLib.org/events, or call 651459-2040.

Outdoor Family Storytime Thursday, December 16 from 10 to 10:30 A.M.

This storytime focuses on music and movement. We’ll learn new songs, sing favorite tunes, dance, and play musical instruments! Recommended for ages 0-8 and their grown-ups. This program is held outdoors on the patio of Park Grove Library and will be canceled if there is a weather advisory. Registration not required.

Little Innovators: Dream Park Saturday, December 18

Work cooperatively with your child to create your dream park. For ages 3-6 and their grown-ups. Registration is required for a one-hour time slot between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. You’ll have an hour to play together before it’s time to reset the space for the next group. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Register in person, online at Wash-CoLib.org/events, or call 651-459-2040.

Outdoor Family Storytime at Basil Loveland Park Monday, December 27 from 10 to 10:30 A.M.

Join us to sing, talk, read, write, and play at this inclusive storytime for families. Meet new friends, socialize, and strengthen early literacy skills! Recommended for developmental ages 0-8 and their grown-ups. This storytime will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Registration not required.
