Park Grove Library featured events for December All Washington County Library branches will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday. Branches will also be closed Friday, Dec. 31 for the New Year’s holiday. Virtual: Poetry Workshop and Poetry Workbook Kit Tuesday, December 7 from 6 to 7 P.M.

Join this virtual Poetry Workshop with COMPAS Teaching Artist May Lee-Yang to find your voice in poetry and prose. You will write, receive peer feedback, and practice revision using your own Poetry Workbook. The Poetry Workbook will be available to pick up at Park Grove Library beginning Wednesday, December 1. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Register in person, online at WashCoLib. org/events, or call 651-4592040. Park Grove Daytime Book Club Wednesday, December 8 from 1 to 2:30 P.M.

This month’s selection is Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. The Daytime Book Club at Park Grove Library meets on the second Wednesday of each month. No registration required.

Take and Make with KidCreate Studio: Glow-in-the-Dark Cityscape Wednesday, December 8 (while supplies last) Create a Glow-in-the-Dark Cityscape with skylines! Pick up supplies at Park Grove Library and complete this project at home. For ages 5-12. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. No registration required.

Crafty Needles Monday, December 13 from 6 to 8 P.M.

Are you working on a knitting, crocheting, or embroidery project? Join fellow enthusiasts on the second and fourth Mondays of the month for camaraderie, inspiration, and ideas. Bring your own project supplies. No registration required.
