Tim Maluski has been hired as the new boys' golf coach at Park High School.
He takes over for Jay Moser, who led the program the past two seasons. Maluski served as an assistant coach with the boys program last year. He also has experience coaching a variety of sports at different levels.
"Tim will lead the program with his core values of empathy, teamwork and respect," said Phil Kuemmel, Activities Director at Park High School.
He is an insurance agent in Cottage Grove.
“We are looking forward to Tim taking over the boys golf program," Kuemmel said. "I know he will continue the success that we have had on the course in past years while also teaching lifelong skills that will remain with our student-athletes forever. His purpose is to ‘teach boys to develop and keep their passion for sports. Also, to give them the skills to be great teammates, leaders in our community and to respect everyone,’ which will help Park’s student-athletes in both golf and life.”
Maluski will hold an informational meeting with boys' golfers later this fall or winter.
