A bus driver with 60 years of “deep roots” in South Washington County, the next candidate for consideration in the upcoming school board election is Michael Bestler. Excited for the opportunity, Bestler takes a possible board seat and its responsibilities very seriously.
“I believe giving our children a world class education is one of the most important responsibilities a resident can have,” Bestler shared on the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission website at www.swctc.org recently. A graduate of Park High along with his three children, Bestler has been a Cottage Grove volunteer firefighter and was also director of the Cottage Grove Athletic Association Girl’s Softball team “for over ten years.” Seeing the school district as built on the hopes and dreams of real families, Bestler asks your vote consideration on November 2
