WOODBURY – Join Chris Falteisek, local musician and photographer, for a special evening of music and storytelling titled “Norway & Sweden 2026: A Concert Through the Eyes of a Photographer and Musician.” The multimedia concert takes place at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2026 at Christ Episcopal Church, 7305 Afton Road in Woodbury.
During the presentation, Falteisek will share original compositions, traditional Scandinavian folk music, photography, videos, and personal anecdotes from his July 2026 Nordic pilgrimage. Marking his seventh journey to Norway and his tenth to Sweden, the program highlights a deep personal connection to his ancestral homelands.
The evening will feature stories, pictures and videos from across Norway and Sweden, including:
• A concert in Järle, Sweden
• Travels to the island of Gotland, Sweden
• Visits to Larvik, Ottestad, Hamar, Aurskog, Alvdal, Folldal and Dovre, Norway
All are welcome to attend this multimedia event of Nordic culture and music. Refreshments will follow the concert.
