Park got a much-needed win, and on the road at that, with a 62-59 overtime victory at Mounds View Friday.
Park led 33-28 at the half but was outscored 26-21 after intermission to send the game into overtime. The Wolfpack then won the extra period 8-5.
The victory snapped a tough seven-game losing streak for the Wolfpack, and avenged an earlier 47-44 loss to Mounds View at Cottage Grove on Dec. 10.
Mesa Jameson had one of her best offensive games of the season, leading Park with 22 points. Graycie Smith added 14 points and Hailey Kieffer 9.
Park improved to 4-7 in the Suburban East Conference and 7-9 on the season. Mounds View fell to 4-7 in the SEC and 9-7 overall.
The Wolfpack hosts a good Stillwater team (13-4, 9-2) Thursday evening, then plays a non-conference contest at Eagan (9-8) on Saturday with a 2 p.m. start. A scheduled home game against Faribault, originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 31, has been canceled.
