Park Grove Library featured events for March Reworks Community Upcycled Art: Collages Wednesday, March 1 from 12 to 8 p.m.
Pick up a kit and use upcycled materials to create a collage! Return your artwork to the library by March 27 to have it displayed in this community exhibit during the month of April. No registration is required.
Fine Motor Friday: Squares Friday, March 3 from 11 to 12 p.m. Join us to complete activities focusing on your child’s fine motor skills. This program begins right after storytime. For children ages 3-8. Registration is not required.
Toddler Drive-In Saturday, March 4 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
This special storytime focuses on vehicles. Spend time creating your own cars, singing songs about vehicles, and watching a few short videos featuring vehicles. For children ages 2-4. Registration is not required.
Open-Ended Art for Adults: Upcycled Decorative Jars Tuesday, March 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Use acrylic paints and glass containers to create upcycled decorative jars. No in-person instruction is provided during this program – come meet friends or someone new in the community. Registration is required. Register in person, online, or by calling 651-459-2040. Rhythmically Speaking Thursday, March 9 from 1 to 2 p.m. Rhythmically Speaking is a Twin Cities- based dance organization with a mission to cultivate human connection. Join us as Park Grove Library for their unique groove, interaction, and improvisation-driven approach to jazz dance! No registration is required. The program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Game Day Gathering Saturday, March 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Adults 50+ are invited to come play a variety of games such as chess, Apples to Apples, Carcassonne, card games, and Yahtzee. This is a great way to meet and engage with new people in the community. No registration is required.
