Park Grove Library featured events for August Featured Events Open-Ended Art for Adults: Tempera Painting Tuesday, August 2 from 6 to 7:30 P.M. Adults are welcome to try their hands at painting with tempera paint. Individual stations with brushes, various paint colors, and special paper will be available. Registration is required. Park Grove Library is offering cold lunch every Wednesday afternoon in partnership with Youthprise and the After School Snack Program. All children aged 0-18 are eligible. Lunch is served and must be eaten on site. Contraption Club Thursday, August 4 from 3 to 5 P.M. Learn how to use new technology to make almost anything! Participants will have access to 3D printing, laser cutting, coding robots, soldering, Cricut cutting machines, computerized embroidery, and more. For ages 9-12. This workshop is funded in part with a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education. Registration is not required.

From their forked tongues and sharp teeth to their strong coils and smooth scales, snakes are amazing creatures.
