On May 10, 2021, Park High students were recognized by staff for their individual skills and qualities, inside and outside of the classroom. Students were nominated by teachers from each department, in the areas of Music, Science, Art, Family and Consumer Science, Social Studies, Math, English, World Language, and Physical Education/Health. Mr. Myron Bailey, Mayor of Cottage Grove was the honored speaker, and Principal Todd Herber acted as the Master of Ceremonies.
Our remarkable teachers created a video about each chosen student and spoke about their nominees. Students were recognized for their ICC values, (Integrity, Commitment and Compassion), as well as academics, after school activities and much more. Students received a gift bag with items supplied by Cottage Grove area businesses.
