Park’s Zoey Bammert-Mueller swept the throws, while the Park boys dominated the jumps in the Wolfpack’s Last Chance meet Thursday.
Bammert-Mueller won the shot put with a throw of 31-02, then took first in the discus with a toss of 99-07.5.
Park’s boys swept top honors in the jumps. Hazim King won the high jump (5-6), Bryan Wright the long jump in a personal record of 19-04.5 and Kaleb Miftah took first in the triple jump (39-04).
Park finished second in the team races in both boys and girls divisions.
Woodbury’s girls won with 216, Park was second with 165.5 and Cretin-Derham Hall third with 148.5. Woodbury’s boys also finished on top with 279.5 points. Park was second with 158 and Cretin-Derham Hall third with 114.5.
The Wolfpack compete Thursday in the Suburban East Conference track and field finals at Whiter Bear Lake High School, starting at 3:45 p.m. The section finals are set for May 28 and 30 at Macalester College in St. Paul.
Boys results
Alexander Djadoo was fourth in the 100 (11.64) and Trevelle Waller seventh (11.88). Djadoo was also Park’s top finished in the 200, placing seventh in 25.40. Jayveon Wade was 10th (25.60). Dominic Jenkins ran a 52.73 race in the 400 to finish third. Dylan Davis was fifth in 57.30. Donovan Sheak was seventh in the 110-meter hurdles (20.36) and Dominic Kamau ninth (21.11). Adebare (goodness) was third in the 300 hurdles (46.10) and Sheak sixth (50.64).
Jayden Rentz won the 800 in a personal record time of 2:17.10. Gavin Stauffer (11:49.01) and Liam Fleming (11:52.32) finished 1-2 in the 3,200 meters.
Park’s 4x100 relay team of Ayden Jones, Ricardo Santos, Tyson Jenkins and Ian Yang was second (49.24) and the 4x800 team of Eli Firchau, Henry Joa, Benjamin Paulsen and Kroix Pearson first (8:58.82).
Park junior Aidan Boche was second in both the shot put (41-03) and discus (128-06). Charles Blumberg was fifth in the shot (38-01) and Samuel Paulsen seventh in the discus (95-04).
Jayveon Wade was third (17-04.25) and Jayden Rentz fifth (17-00) in the long jump . Ricardo Santos finished fourth in the triple jump (35-09).
Girls results
Madeline Finstad was sixth (13.66) and Lillie Finstad ninth (13.66) in the 100 meters. Lillie Finstad was also seventh in the 200 (30.06) and teammate Leilani Barcenas ninth (31.10). Kalin Randrup took third in the 400 (1:07.71). Malaya Ramirez won the 800 in 2:45.98 and Randrup was second in 2:50.67. Jana Hafiz was second in the 1,600 (6:26.15) and Alli Devine third (6:35.92). Elizabeth Ayala was third in the 100-meter hurdles (19.15) and Hailey Garcia fifth (20.58). Nevaeh Durham finished sixth in the 300-meter hurdles (57.90).
Park was third in the 4x100 relay (54.32) with the team of Malaya Ramirez, Esme Edlund, Lauryn Forkrud and Nevaeh Durham; second in the 4x200 (1:55.22) with the foursome of Madeline Finstad, Sharon Oni, Lillie Finstad and Ramirez; and second in the 4x400 (4:54.39) with Edlund, Devine, Hafiz and Randrup.
Pajyeeb Long was second in the shot put (30-08) and Marissa Korth fourth (27-01). Ellanor Boche was fifth in the discus (72-03) and Marlina Patrick sixth (69-04).
Park swept the top three places in the pole vault with Jocelyn Meulemans (7-6) Ashlyn Mullen (7-0) and Kylie Bender (6-6). McKayla Annan took second in the high jump (4-4) and was fourth in the triple jump (30-4.5).
