Park girls soccer season comes to an end
Host and second-seeded Eastview eliminated the seventh-seeded Park Wolfpack with a 5-0 win in the Section 3AAA quarterfinals Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Park ended the 2023 season with a 4-9-4 record. The Wolfpack were 3-6-0 in the Suburban East Conference, finishing seventh in league play.
With the exception of a 7-0 win in the regular season finale, the Wolfpack had trouble scoring this season, and that proved to be so in the section opener. Park scored 17 goals in 17 games this season.
Thunderbolts tumble to Lakeville
The South Washington County Thunderbolts fell to 0-3 on the season after an 11-2 loss to Lakeville/Burnsville/Farmington Thursday.
Next up for the Thunderbolts is a home game against South Suburban on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Woodbury High School Fieldhouse, starting at 4:30 p.m.
