Park’s swimmers and divers won eight of 12 varsity events to edge host Mounds View and wrap up the regular season Thursday, winning 95-85.
Matt Glenna led the Wolfpack with individual wins in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.88) and the 100 freestyle (49.82). Glenna also anchored Park’s winning 400-yard freestyle relay team. The foursome of Devin Schwartz, Nathan LeMay, Tyson Kalinowski and Glenna clocked a 3:26.57 time to finish first.
Park’s 200-yard medley relay team of Nathan LeMay, Nathan Johnson, Schwartz and Mitchell LeMay also won in 1:44.22.
Park swimmers swept the top three places in the 200-yard IM. Kalinowski was first in 2:06.82, Mitchell LeMay second in 2:07.36 and Mason Darling third in 2:13.15.
Nathan LeMay finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (22.72) and was second in the 100-yard backstroke (56.01). John Jaso won the 1-meter diving with a score of 131.80, Mitchell LeMay clocked a 55.44 to take the 100-yard butterfly. Mason Darling finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.96.
Park finished the season 6-3 in dual meets, all in the in the Suburban East Conference.
Park’s swimmers and divers compete in the section finals Wednesday, March 10, at Oltman Middle School, starting at 5 p.m.
