LeMay sets another school record in Park swim win

Park senior Michell Le-May continued his assault on the Park record book, this time setting a new standard in the 100 freestyle with a leadoff time in the 400-freestyle relay of 46.94.

LeMay’s record time came as the Wolfpack swimmers and divers bested Forest Lake Tuesday, Feb.7 by a 109-77 score at Cottage Grove Middle School. LeMay also won the 50 freestyle in 23.92 and the 100 freestyle In 47.79.

Park’s 400-yard freestyle relay team of LeMay, Parker Jeseritz, Jack Schweigert and Mason Darling won in a time of 3:35.41. Park’s foursome of Jeseritz, Logan Schweigert, LeMay and Luke Dockendorf won the 200-yard medley relay in 1:50.26.

Jack Schweigert finished first in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:5835.

Darling took top honors in both the 200-yard IM in 2:06.25 and the 100-yard butterfly in 59.21.

Jeseritz outstroked the field un the 500-yard freestyle, winning in 5:26.14. He also finished first in the 100-yard backstroke in 59.37.

Park’s team of Jack Schweigert, Darling, Jackson Harre and Dockendorf was second in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:41.19. Jack Schweigert was second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:09.12.

Park wraps up the regular season Saturday with a 10team invitation meet at Dakota Hills Middle School. Starting at 10 a.m.

Park 72

Host Mounds View dominate the action Thursday at Chippewa Middle School, winning 113-72.

Mitchell LeMay won both the 200-yard freestyle in 1:49.12 and the 100-yard butterfly in 52.13.

Mason Darling took top honors in the 200-yard IM, winning in 2:05.97, and finished first in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.49..

Park eighth grader Ethlyn Schilling won the diving with a score of 176.35.

Park was second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with the quartet of LeMay, Logan Schweigert, Jackson Harre and Darling finishing in 1:37.71. Park’s 400-yard freestyle relay team of Le-May, Jack Schweigert, Harre and Jeseritz also finished second in 3:34.31.
