Park showed over the weekend that their 3-0 start to the season was no fluke as the Wolfpack rolled through the Aerie Challenge at Apple Valley High School going 4-0 and winning the tournament title.

Playing Friday and Saturday, the Wolfpack topped Stewartville (25-23, 25-18), Chatfield (27-25, 25-13), Edina (25-23, 22-25, 15-3) and Eden Prairie (25-18, 18-25 and 15-11) in the tournament.

“We had a great weekend,” said Park head coach Amy Johnson. “The girls really stepped up their game this weekend. We took on some tough teams and battled each and every match with different players stepping up when we needed them. Things are falling into place and the confidence and poise the girls have on the court is really a great strength for us. We are very excited to come away from this tournament as the champions.”

Park is 17-4 in games so far this season.

Park got standout play from any number of players in the tournament. Mesa Jameson had 33 kills and 6 blocks. Rainna Jameson had 22 digs and 20 kills. Sonja Lind scored 17 kills, 25 digs and 7 blocks. Carly Slusser had 4 aces, 17 kills and 7 blocks.

Senior setter Hannah Maxwell had 80 assists and 31 digs and reached the career milestone of 1,000 career assists.

Jenna Katlack had 20 digs and 4 aces, Ameenah Alowonle recorded 13 kills and 4 blocks and Peyton Moerke and 10 digs.
