Public invited to open house March 18 on Valley Creek Road corridor study

Posted

The public is invited to an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, on a corridor study of County Highway 16 (Valley Creek Rd.) from Interlachen Parkway to State Highway 95 (Manning Ave.) The open house will be at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Rd. in Woodbury.
The corridor study is being conducted in partnership with the City of Woodbury. It is analyzing current and future needs (highway capacity, intersections, access, right-of-way, drainage, pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, etc.) along the corridor to provide a vision that helps guide future improvement opportunities.
At the open house, attendees can meet the project team, view the study recommendations, and learn about the schedule and next steps for the study. Materials from the open house will be posted on the project website following the in-person event. The public can visit the project website to view an online engagement opportunity and provide input anytime from March 18 to April 1. There will be no formal presentation at the in-person or virtual open houses.
Study updates will be posted on the project website at WashingtonCountyMN.gov/ValleyCreek. For more information, contact Project Manager Andrew Giesen at 651-430-4336 or andrew.giesen@washingtoncountymn.gov.
