The public is invited to an open house from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, regarding improvements to County Road 74 (65th Street) from County Highway 38 (Hastings Avenue) to Geneva Ave South in Newport. The open house will occur at Oltman Middle School, 6625 Goodview Ave S., Cottage Grove.
The improvement project seeks to analyze and design traffic and drainage improvements and to study trail feasibility along the roadway.
At the open house meet the project team, provide input on existing conditions, and learn about the schedule and next steps for the project.
For those unable to attend the in-person open house, there will be an opportunity to review the material shared at the in-person open house on the project website. The online engagement will be available from Sept. 10 through Sept. 24. There will be no formal presentations during the in-person event or the online engagement.
