See initial drawings and ideas for a redesigned Park Grove Library at a project open house on Monday, April 28 from 6 to 7 p.m.
The open house at Park Grove Library (7900 Hemingway Ave S, Cottage Grove) will include a brief presentation by the design team from Alliiance, followed by questions and an opportunity to chat informally with Alliiance, Washington County, and library staff to share your feedback and initial impressions on the design.
The Park Grove Library project is wrapping up the first design phase. The images and drawings presented at the open house are based on information gathered from community members and library stakeholders through in-person events and online surveys.
After the open house, community members can continue to provide feedback about the project through an online survey and visual boards posted at the library.
Project Background
Washington County hired Alliiance Architects in October 2024 to provide architectural design and engineering services for the Park Grove Library project.
The current library is outdated and requires significant repair and reconstruction to meet today's needs for energy efficiency, sustainability, and community space and program needs.
Construction is anticipated to begin in spring of 2026. Learn more on the project website: https://washingtoncountymn.gov/ParkGroveLibraryProject
