PLYMOUTH, MN (January 3, 2022) – Jim Schultz (@JimForMN), a fifth-generation Minnesotan and political outsider running for the Republican nomination to challenge DFL Attorney General Keith Ellison, today announced his campaign ended 2021 with more than $100,000 cash on hand.
Schultz’s fundraising haul and ending cash balance are believed to be a record for the relevant period for a Republican candidate in the Minnesota Attorney General race.
“I am thrilled by the broad support we have received since we announced our campaign three weeks ago,” said Schultz “With so much riding on the outcome of next year’s election, and a public safety crisis overwhelming our communities enabled by farleft policies, Minnesota Republicans can’t afford another missed opportunity. I will work to ensure that our campaign has the resources we need to reach every Minnesotan with our message that Keith Ellison has failed, and that we must restore a Minnesota that is safe, strong, and secure.”
Schultz, who announced his campaign for Attorney General on December 9, 2021, is seeking the Republican endorsement for Attorney General at this year’s state convention in Rochester, Minnesota.
