“With such a small team this season, winning meets is a tough ask, sometimes I can't even fill a whole varsity roster, but I am proud to say that the girls are as determined as ever to get personal records, and such a beautiful sisterhood has developed on the team,” said Park head coach Arachi O’Brien. “Every meet so far has been a blast.”
“My captains Izzy Brown and Katelyn Norgaard are leading with grace, kindness and up-beat energy, they have gone above and beyond with facilitating good relationships amongst the team and keeping the girls motivated,” O’Brien continued. “Of course I can't forget to mention our other seniors, Lyla Kopp and Eraya Nybakken, who have always been great leaders and have stepped up to help the captains if the need arises.
“I look forward to many more personal records, a couple of our girls are aiming to beat some team records this season,” O’Brien added. “I am more than confident that they have it in them.”
