AFTON, Minn. ─ On Tuesday, October 7th, Minnesota Senator Judy Seeberger (DFL- Afton) announced that she will run for re-election to the Minnesota Senate in 2026. Seeberger released the following statement:
“It is an honor to represent Senate District 41 in the Minnesota Senate and I am proud to fight for clean water, strong and safe communities, and an economy that works for all Minnesotans. I am so grateful for the support and trust of the residents of SD 41, and hope to continue to serve and earn the trust that has been placed in me,” said Seeberger.
“I am running for re-election because while we have accomplished a great deal, more work is left to be done to combat PFAS in drinking water, to address gun violence, to make healthcare more accessible, and to lower costs for workers, families, farmers, and small business owners in Minnesota.”
Seeberger announced that she will kick off her re-election campaign on Monday, October 20th in Hastings, Minnesota. Seeberger has also led reforms to stabilize critical EMS services in Minnesota, and has championed public safety funding and support for first responders, leading to her recognition as Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association Legislator of the Year in 2024.
